How Zalqivo's calculators and estimates work
We separate official exam rules from calculations, estimates and historical references so students can understand what a result means before relying on it.
Score calculators
Score calculators apply the marking scheme stated on the relevant Zalqivo tool. Inputs are processed in the browser for the core calculators; no account is required.
Rank estimates
Rank predictors are estimates, not official rank declarations. A score-to-rank relationship can change between years because the candidate pool, score distribution and admission rules can change. We therefore use cautious language such as “estimated rank” or “rank range” rather than presenting a prediction as guaranteed.
Cutoff references
Cutoff pages are intended for research and comparison. Historical closing ranks or qualifying thresholds should not be treated as guarantees for a future cycle. Always check the current official admission notice before making an application or preference decision.
Official rules vs estimates
Official information
Exam pattern, marking rules and admission requirements are identified as cycle-specific information and should be verified against the current official notification.
Calculated information
Scores and section totals are generated from the inputs you provide and the rules stated by the tool.
Estimated information
Rank and marks-vs-rank results are estimates based on stated assumptions or references and can change with new data.
Keeping information current
Exam rules, cutoffs and admission processes can change each cycle. Zalqivo labels cycle-specific information and encourages students to re-check official notices when a new admission cycle begins.
Privacy and free access
Core Zalqivo tools are designed to work without an account or sign-in. See the Privacy Policy for the site's privacy information.
