IAT syllabus guide
The 2026 official syllabus is divided into four science subjects. Use this page as a roadmap, then check the official brochure for the complete chapter-level list.
Biology
Living world and diversity, plant and animal structure, cell biology, plant physiology, human physiology, reproduction, genetics, evolution, biotechnology and ecology.
Chemistry
Fundamental chemistry and stoichiometry, atomic structure, periodicity, bonding, coordination and d/f-block chemistry, thermodynamics, equilibrium, organic chemistry and biomolecules.
Mathematics
Algebra, functions, coordinate geometry, calculus, vectors and three-dimensional geometry, probability, statistics and other senior-secondary mathematics topics.
Physics
Mechanics, properties of matter, thermodynamics, waves, electrostatics, current electricity, magnetism, optics, modern physics and related senior-secondary concepts.
How to use the syllabus
Mark every chapter as strong, improving or weak. Finish concept learning first, then move to mixed IAT-level practice and timed mocks.
